TwiPartyUA in Kiev

On February 18, a party for Twitter microblogging service users called “TwiPartyUA” was held in Kiev. The party was held in the “Club of Friends of Eric” - a pleasant club in the center of Kiev.

The main purpose of the event is to unite and acquaint with each other the people who form the core of the Ukrainian audience Twitter. Therefore, we tried to make the format of the evening most conducive to communication.

The whole atmosphere was warmed up by the most delicious "soda", which tviplam registered to the registered free of charge in the bar.


Guests could leave their messages on the improvised off-line "TweeWALL"


In addition, messages with the hashtag «TwiPartyUA» were broadcast on screens in the hall. Messages could be sent via a free wi-fi access point.


The main sponsor of the party was the ASUS representative office in Ukraine, information support was provided by the MTV channel and the online publication AIN.UA

As can be seen from the photo essays, the atmosphere in the club was positive and very friendly, so more than 150 tvitteryan who attended the party, noted that “TwiPartyUA” was successful!

A few words about the organization of the party itself.
I can say that with the help of Twitter, the organization “TwiPartyUA” cost us practically nothing. Everything was done with the help of twitter strangers themselves. Therefore, a separate thank you so much I want to say the following active tviplam:
- @Chikibumster and @WalterHellmann - party initiators. It was they who launched the idea to the masses and found a club that provided us with a place for a party for free. In addition, @Chikibumster made beautiful stickers with a familiar avatar and nickname, @WalterHellmann drew the site and played a great set.
- @ukrtaxist - general organization of the process, promotion of a party in Twi, search for partners.
- @_GVic - host of “TwiPartyUA”
- @Crash_AT - help with the technical part of the party.
