Real men are not afraid of the unknown. It is easy not to be afraid of Unix - everything is clear there. It's much harder not to be afraid of Windows, knowing that it can throw out something unpredictable. Therefore, real men put Windows even on critical servers. They know no fear.
Real men are not lazy. Almost all Unixoids are lazy - it’s easier for them to write a script in ten minutes to automate their work. Real men under Windows can easily spend hours doing the same thing manually. They are not lazy.
Real men do not disagree. Unixoids all already got their discussions, which distribution to set, and what is best for this task - Solaris or Linux. Windows as the general line of the party - one, even in several faces. And it develops as one organization wants. Real men like it, it's like in the army. Real men for the command system.
Real men are not needed in comfort. They are smilingly listening to Unicsoid disputes about what problems the Windows GUI has, why it does not satisfy any of the requirements placed on the interface, and how poor their command line is. They themselves know all this, they just think that it’s unworthy of men to care so much about convenience. Real men can sleep on the bare floor, what can we say about the color, velvet bed, even if it is set vertically.
Real men don't think about money. They will easily pay thousands of dollars for software on their computer, knowing that they can get the same functionality for free. They do not need it, because counting money is petty.
Real men do not need remote work. If they need, they can come to the server room at night in order to run the software they need or see what is happening. After all, they are real men.
Real men endure trials. They know that different versions of MS Office are incompatible with each other, but they are not afraid, if necessary, to turn the five hundred page document. Or that the old software will cease to run when moving to a new OS. They are, in fact, not so important. They will not whine, they just spend a few days on the re-layout or rewrite the software - that's all. They are real men.
Real men are fundamental. They understand the need to overload the system after installing each program, and indeed, for a real man, it is not a problem to overload the machine every two to three days. It is easy for him to periodically disassemble the dustbin in the hard drive and in the registry, and he does not start an empty swearing on the Web when something else flies when you install something. He does not consider this abnormal and unnatural. He just gritting his teeth solves the problem.
The real man doesn’t wry when it turns out that the new version requires three times more memory and works twice as slow. He simply takes the money set aside to rest, goes and buys a new computer. Real men do not need rest.
Real men need neither ease, nor convenience, nor reliability. They need a fight.
And the conclusion from all this is one. Only whiners and weaklings are sitting under the Unix. Real men sitting under Windows are despised for it ...
