Mirasol - Qualcomm's New Electronic Paper Technology

This is a prototype of a new e-book from Qualcomm. Built on the basis of the new display technology Mirasol, which uses the same principle as the butterfly. It is known that the butterflies themselves are not colored - they simply reflect the desired wavelength due to flakes on the wings.

Mirasol uses the same principle. The “microroughness” of the display (in fact, it is not irregularities, but not important), reflects the desired wave and the picture comes to life. Simple, bright and requires even less energy than traditional e-Ink paper.
