Gentlemen who use Windows and Mac OS can immediately score on this topic. :) Not because I have something against them, it’s just that now it’s about Linux.
Everyone knows that the user interface is well configured in Linux. Now I’m talking about KDE, but not because Gnome is configured worse. I just do not use the latter.
Most recently, I discovered Beryl for myself, after reading one topic in Habré about the convenience of linux (I think this topic had not yet been forgotten). And I even set it up for myself, but I didn’t find it at all convenient to set it up (as is often the case with the new one in linux). After that, I also saw another mention from
BmW of some kind of “compise”.
So I had a couple of questions. The first of them - is there any intelligible manual about Beryl? Secondly, how good is compiz (maybe it makes no sense to look at Beryl, because it's good by the screenshots)?
')
And the last, most interesting to me, what other decorations do you use for yourself? The fact is that one of the reasons for my good attitude towards Linux is an aesthetic pleasure when working. Therefore, taking into account that I missed the compilation with beryl, I wondered what else had passed by my attention.
PS If this topic in this blog seems out of place to someone, you shouldn’t need to minus it, just write your opinion and (if there are at least two of them) I will remove the topic in my personal blog.
