Today a kind of precedent was created. The rightholders officially offered to arrange the Internet premiere of their mini-series (a seven-part sitcom) on Novafilme . As it is known, the mentioned project is one of the largest serial trackers of the Runet, therefore it is a pretty tasty place to start. Sitcom called "J-factory" in my own opinion is not particularly remarkable, but this is not the point. In the Russian segment of the Internet, this is the first case when a commercial television product is transmitted for free distribution. By the way, all the series of this mini-series on February 23 will show the Russian channel MTV. Here's what the topic of the premiere is written on Novafilme:
Today at Novafilme unusual premiere. We present you a new youth sitcom "J-Factory".This is a small Russian TV series, the main characters of which are working on the invention of this invisibility machine, worship Lord Sule and fall into various funny situations.
The J-Factory was filmed by a British team led by director Chris Weit, who also brought Hollywood cameraman Ozzie McLean and editor Henry Trotter to Russia. In Russia, the sound technician Boris Voit joined this team. ')
Knowing that NovaFilm is the most popular Runet showroom, the producers of the show turned to us with a request to arrange an official online premiere, which we are happy to do.At your disposal 7 episodes of 9 minutes.Enjoy watching!
The precedent has been created. But will it be good? Not all filmmakers understand the opportunities that such cooperation can open to them. Closing the trackers, they will not come to anything good unequivocally. People as the files changed, and they will change. Wouldn't it be better to try to coexist together, but on mutually beneficial terms? Any release online, in fact, an excellent advertisement.
