AOL has announced the purchase of a controlling stake in
ADTECH AG , a German advertising company that
promotes advertising on the Internet.
The acquisition gives AOL an advertising platform that allows advertisers to manage their advertising companies online.
ADTECH will operate as a division of AOL Advertising.com.

AOL's executive director, Randy Falco, that the acquisition will allow the company to provide its advertisers with a more comprehensive advertising service.
Financial aspects of the issue, at the moment, were not disclosed.
