Browser Selection Dialogue Debuts Next Week

The first choice dialog will be seen by users from the UK, Belgium and France - it will be delivered via Windows Update to all those who use the Interner Explorer as their default browser. The rest of the EU countries will see the dialogue starting March 1.

Users of Windows 7 from the Eurozone countries will notice that the IE shortcut attached to the taskbar will be detached.

Before you see the list of leading browsers, users will see a warning indicating the seriousness of their choice.

The presented list of browser on the agreement reached with the EU will be generated in a random order. Interestingly, Microsoft posted a screenshot on the blog where Internet Explorer is located almost at the end of the list.
