LegalCamp - Legal IT Business Issues
On March 14, 2010, the first BarCamp event on the legal issues of IT business, LegalCamp, will be held in St. Petersburg.
LegalCamp is a conference on current legal issues of IT business, which is held in St. Petersburg for the first time. LegalCamp will bring together about 70 IT project managers, startups, investors, and lawyers to talk about doing IT business, investing in IT projects, social media law, copyright, patenting, and content protection.
The event will be interesting to those who are faced with legal issues in IT projects and want to stay abreast of the latest news and leading practices of IT law. In the intervals between presentations, special time will be allocated for the exchange of contacts (networking).
At LegalCamp there will be two streams of lectures and master classes. The first (up to 70 people) is devoted to copyright issues and content regulation. The second (up to 15 people) - the creation, management and protection of business in the field of IT. Each of the participants may attend no more than two events of the second stream.

The new format of the event for Russia BarCamp gives the opportunity to act as a speaker to any participant (for more details on the requirements for speakers here ). Barcamp is an informal conference held with the aim of sharing knowledge between participants in the process of their open interaction.
At the event, Viktor Naumov , one of the leading experts in the CIS on Internet law, will speak on the topic “Legal issues of the organization of IT and Internet business in the field of creating and distributing intangible assets”.
