There is also a separate application for iPhones and Mac OS X Waveboard , but since Gmail became an important tool in my daily affairs, I have long since chosen the method of “Santa's Little Helpers” - various jabber bots that work hard. , closely follow the new posts, tweets, databases (and all the other entries in all kinds of new-fashioned types of blogging) of my friends and immediately report on this inconspicuously to me via Gmail chat - aka gtalk, i.e. google xmpp protocol
