Created programming language for children

Specialists from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the University of California (UCLA) have developed the Scratch programming language for the youngest computer users, namely for children aged 8 and older.

Scratch allows you to create games, animation and other "children's things", as well as share them via the Internet. The MIT developers compare the language with the Lego constructor, in which the necessary construction is created from a set of parts. By the way, it was their ideas that once inspired the creators of the Lego Mindstorms robot series.
