Running Chatter beta testing
Salesforce.com launches closed beta testing of Chatter , a “cloud-based” corporate platform for group collaboration and team collaboration, positioned as an alternative to Microsoft SharePoint and IBM Lotus Notes.
Chatter contains a set of traditional features, including profiles, status updates for users and applications, document collaboration, integration with third-party services, including Facebook, Twitter and Google Apps. Cloud apps sold through the Salesforce.com AppExchange online store can also be connected to Chatter. There is support for mobile devices Windows Mobile, iPhone and BlackBerry.
