Quintura search engine put up for sale

The funds of Mangrove Capital Partners and ABRT, reports Lenta.ru , are going to sell their shares in Quintura. Western corporations are interested in buying Russian search engine.

Vendors appreciate Quintura’s assets, as the company owns patents on important search technologies. In total, the company has eight patents, the cost of one license can reach hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Currently, Quintura 's business model is to distribute its own search on the site and display contextual advertising on pages with search results.
