Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics Playable

A group of independent developers " Kikoboks " released another free playtable (widget) of the Winter Olympics 2010 in Vancouver - an application to the desktop of the computer - especially for fans of the Winter Olympics.

Many people remember the previous work “ Desktop Fan - for the World Hockey Championship 2009! "

The Vancouver Playtable, as usual, is installed on the desktop of the computer and makes it possible, without opening the browser, to see the position of all teams in the official Olympic standings and even listen to sports news and online radio broadcasts.

Also, the fan’s attention is offered a convenient TV program of the Olympiad broadcasts and a daily schedule of games. Wow



The main menu consists of 15 buttons, pictograms corresponding to the sports of the Winter Olympics. Each button opens in a separate window the schedule of competitions in this sport.

1. Now this is a full-fledged program, works great with the network, with sound, with 3D - you can display 3D directly to the desktop.
2. Works under any Windows - XP, Vista, 7. Does not require an Active Desktop. Also works under 64-bit Windows.
3. Universal setup - for all 32 -bit and 64-bit Windows - just one file.
4. Widgets now consume very small memory, but this does not count :)) - we were in a hurry. An example - a widget for Vedomosti - takes up about as much memory as Notepad takes.
5. Disappeared problems with wallpaper.

We want to do more:

1. The ability to run several different widgets at the same time.
2. Make it possible to add videos to your desktop.
