OpenPeak has been designed to create a compact, easy-to-use phone.
Marketers, of course, can write anything, but one cannot but admit that the OpenTablet 7 tablet presented at Mobile World Congress 2010 today looks very impressive.

The computer is built on the Intel Moorestown platform and has a 7-inch multitouch touch screen with LED backlight. Inside, there are 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules, a slot for microSD cards and as many as two cameras: separately for video calls and separately for taking pictures (this is the norm in phones, in tablets, as far as I know, this is the first solution used). There is, of course, a USB port, an HDMI interface, speakers and a microphone.
In general, you want a photo frame, you want a player, you want a VoIP telephony.
All this is packaged in a case 15 millimeters thick (length 125, width 225 mm), weighs 500 grams and will be sold in the autumn, it is not yet clear at what cost.
