But first things first, today HTC introduced three new smartphones. HTC Desire and HTC Legend - the long-awaited news on the basis of Android 2.1, as well as the HTC HD mini - a miniature version of the older brother HD2. HTC Legend is a complete replacement for the popular HTC Hero smartphone. Legend, like Hero, is made in the form of a monoblock with a slight bend to the bottom. Like the N1, Desire is based on a Qualcomm QSD8250 1 GHz SoC, has an AMOLED 3.7 "WVGA capacitive screen with multi-touch capability, 512 MB ROM, 576 MB RAM, 5 megapixel camera, microSDHC support up to 32 GB. Also HTC Desire, unlike the Nexus One, it has at its disposal a more modern optical sensor instead of a trackball. HTC Desire is expected on the Russian market in April.




The third was presented HTC HD mini - a simplified and reduced version of the HTC HD2, which should, apparently, take place between the series Diamond and HD.


At the heart of HD mini is all the same budget System-on-Chip Qualcomm MSM7225 with a frequency of 600 MHz. Also HD mini boasts a TFT 3.2 "HVGA capacitive screen, 512 MB ROM, 384 MB RAM, 5 megapixel camera, support for microSDHC cards up to 32 GB. It is worth noting that this smartphone is only the second WinMo-device in the HTC lineup with capacitive screen. Probably, he will find his buyer in early April.
