FriendFeed for bright minds

Recently I ran into a new service that interested my narrow target audience, or more precisely, not even narrowness, but election.
In fact, www.sciencefeed.com is Friendfeed, only the accounts, as conceived by the developers, should belong to the bright minds of our planet. Well, a noble cause, although to say that scientists are somehow deprived of the attention of developers of social networks and portals is impossible.
Not very long having picked the bookmarks of my bookmarks, I was able to find a couple more sites for scientists:

Unfortunately, Sciencefeed is not yet very active - in my opinion, in this case a rather conservative audience is to blame.
In general, the idea of microblogging for a narrow layer of scientists is interesting and I would be happy to subscribe to them just for the sake of seeing what black hole our world is rolling in.
