Google may introduce psychological targeting

Google submitted a patent to determine the psychological profile of users. The patent describes the possibility of determining the psychological nature of the players with the help of their conversations in chat and other text interactions in games.

“The company believes that this technology will be able to gather information about the type of person and preferences of a person by tracking his behavior on the Web, and then selling this information to advertisers. Details, such as whether a person is aggressive, hostile or dishonest, will be identified and stored for future use, ”reported The Age.

The patent states that user conversations can be used to characterize a user, such as unholy, rude, polite, cautious, determined, calm, inconspicuous, honest, friendly or hostile.
