Lately, especially when there is nothing to do, I often want to include some kind of music for the background (I work more often in silence). Search and fill the player every time with different good songs annoys me wildly. Laziness took her own or the fantasy dried up, but I was tired of every time making a playlist in a similar way, as, however, the usual shuffle. It was decided to try what the web offers. So, web radio services:

1. Last.fm - I think everyone knows the service. I knew him before, and I liked him very much until they decided to monetize him. The prospect of paying, even if I did not like $ 3 a month, and the search continued. Although the base by performers, their number, base of interrelations and similarities, and indeed the radio itself is excellent, well, “millions of lemmings cannot be wrong!” =)
   
2. GrooveShark - Quite a great replacement for the last, also wants money, and also 3 evergreen papers, but only for disabling advertising (which happy owners of Chrome can turn off for free ;). As the creators say, thousands of radio stations are represented, many of which really deserve attention. Works search by an impressive number of genres, of course there are ratings.
   
8. Station.ru - Thanks to SergeyGrigorev . It broadcasts 7 on-air radio stations: D-fm, Maximum etc, a bit more Internet radio stations and a large number of user selections, such as: “Female rock hits” or “Tender radio”.
   

However, quite often you just want to find some song, download, and not click on banners, do not write captcha, do not put crutches for VKontakte or browser, that's what was found for such a case:

1. Vpleer.ru - Elegant and nothing extra: we search, listen and download tracks from vk.com, last.fm and some others.
   
2. SimplyPlayer - Same as vpleer, but with the ability to organize music into playlists, a more convenient player that does not change from page to page, and a nice design. And, zest, you can have one playlist for different computers if you log in under one account.
   
3. Tagoo - Search for tracks, videos and even programs. Of course, one cannot get away from collective under-bluffs, popular users and other attributes of web_dva_nolnosti. It has its modest tagupedia - information on the performers. I do not use it myself for redundancy of functionality.
   
4. Losseless - well, and lastly , for real audiophiles: It searches for unpatched music, most often in FLAC format. I practically did not use it, I can’t say anything good or bad.

I do not use Vkontakte - I can not say anything about its applications and its own player.
