Online Research 2.0

It is no secret that various marketing / sociological / economic studies are gradually moving to the Internet. Although, I must say, initially, scientists were skeptical of various kinds of online research (due to the small coverage of the worldwide network and, accordingly, low representativeness).

Actually now, and in Russia, the opportunity to conduct normal research on the Internet. In such large cities as Moscow and St. Petersburg, the Internet audience accounts for more than 40% of the total population, among young people - more than 80-85%.

In connection with all this, the collection “Online Research in Russia 2.0” was recently released, which included 21 articles of domestic and foreign scientists on the theory, methodology and practice of research on the Internet. I think this collection will be of interest to a wide range of specialists in IT and Social Sciences.
