Navigate with iPhone

Greetings to all, today, thanks to the iPhone, we can do a lot of interesting things, now it can replace us with a game console, camera, navigator, and more. Today we will consider the situation when the device will help us in determining the position, calculating the route, finding the nearest gas stations, hotels, coffee and much more. You do not need to buy a separate navigator, enough of your iPhone and a relatively small amount of money in the account in the iTunes store.

In today's review, there are 3 programs that will turn your iPhone into a navigator, among them: Sygic Mobile Maps, iGo navigation for Russia, NDrive Russia.
So all the programs purchased, installed, proceed to the review.
')

Sygic Mobile Maps.

Price: $ 79.99.
Size: 211 MB.
Rating in the AppStore (USA): 4+.
Link in the AppStore: Sygic Mobile Maps.

Pros :
Russian localization.
Nice interface.
Additional functions: Time zones, calculator, unit conversion, country reference book.
Change the color scale in accordance with the time of day.
Multitouch support (Latest version only).

Minuses :
Weak detail of small cities.
The lack of contours of houses (Present in the previous scales, it is not clear why they were removed).

Conclusion: In general, the program is pleasant, navigation with it was a pleasure.

iGo navigation for Russia.

Price: $ 69.99.
Size: 244 mb.
Rating in the AppStore (USA): 4+.
Link in AppStore: iGo navigation for Russia.

Pros :
Built-in music player with convenient key layout.
Ability to choose a vehicle (Trifle, but nice).
Change the color scale in accordance with the time of day.
Russian localization (on screenshots the English version is presented).
Good detail maps.

Minuses :
Incomplete localization (Sometimes untranslated phrases come across).

Conclusion: It’s a good, convenient program, but I didn’t immediately find Russian localization in the settings (or didn’t want to find it), but they forgot to offer me the first time I started it.

NDrive Russia.

Price: $ 69.99.
Size: 194 mb.
Rating in the AppStore (USA): 4+.
Link in the AppStore: NDrive Russia.

Pros :
Russian localization (it is also a minus, more on that below).

Minuses :
Poor localization:
1) Otsutvie Russian keyboard (street names will have to type in transliteration).
2) Street names are not translated into Russian.
3) Some menu items simply do not fit in the display when upright.
4) The names of some menu items can only be guessed at (note “Ituran GPS”).
The interface did not like.
While the information about the route is being played, the music stops, not silenced.

Conclusion: I didn't like it.

So our review comes to an end, I think now any user who has an iPhone will be harder to get lost in our immense country, good luck on the roads.
