Greener Gadgets is holding a design contest in which readers can vote for one of eighteen gadgets made from environmentally friendly materials. One of the most interesting gadgets is Corky , a mouse created by Adele Peters.
The mouse body is made entirely of recycled recycled tree bark and plastic. The device is wireless and draws energy from movements, such as gliding on a table / rug, pressing buttons or scrolling a wheel. The movements are captured and converted into energy thanks to the piezoelectric elements inside the mouse. Thus, mouse batteries, rechargeable batteries, and chargers are not required. ')
The winner of the competition will be presented at Greener Gadgets and McGraw-Hill conferences.
