Once I realized that I couldn’t live like this anymore and began to look for ways to control myself in the turbulent flow of time.
Consistently went to the Arkhangelsk and "his" Outlook. Following was David Allen's GTD, along with the wonderful
My Life Organized . A little more and I learned about the system of
Basil Sour , which I fitted in MLO for myself. But life goes on, everything changes around and now I need a system for the iPhone.
As it turned out, the
Basil Sour system remarkably falls on a multitude
of time management programs.
I will not paint in great detail, but just briefly show "how it is with me." If you are not familiar with the system of
Sour , I strongly advise you to read. There is not a lot of letters, everything is capacious and to the point. The system is as simple as an ax, but at the same time quite flexible.
The first program that I tried and fitted under Basil - Appigo Todo
Pros:
- Minimalist enough
- Full implementation of the Sour system is possible due to double entry
- The name of the task is divided into several lines, thereby completely fits on the screen.
- Sync with Toodledo.com, Remember the milk, Appigo Sync
Minuses:
- Often crashes when a large number of tasks
- "Invalid" display of the number of tasks on the application icon
- Notifications work only with the presence of the Internet
The general system of passing thoughts through Appigo Todo:
')

On the phone, it looks like this:

The subtleties of fit are that the projects here are lists. And the main working folder
"In Focus" .
You also need to slightly adjust the default settings of the task and the settings in the "In Focus" list.

The idea came - immediately fix in the program! Did not fix, count lost and forgot and did not.
With daily RULES, we clearly formulate tasks, distribute them to projects and assign contexts.
Then a thousand times a day we look in “In Focus” and do, do, do, do!
About one small but unpleasant minus -
“Invalid” display of the number of tasks on the application icon . In previous versions of this was not, but in the latest version something broke. Previously, it was the case that if any context was selected, then the icon displayed the number of tasks falling under this context, and now
in general all tasks , regardless of context. Confusing. I can not get used.
And that is all! The trick is that the system works for you, not you for the system.
But this seemed to me a lot :)
The fact is that I am using Evernote and Goole Docs closely, and I didn’t really like the fact that you need to use another service, even one as powerful as Toodledo. I want easier!
Recently on sale I purchased
Awesome Note (+ Todo) . I looked closely ... And what about + Todo?
And quite a good todo turned out.
Pros:
- Very pleasant, comfortable and fast.
- Minimalist enough
- Synchronization with Evernote and Google Docs
- Notes and tasks in one place
Minuses:
- No notifications. Quite
- Impossible to fully implement Sour , since there are no contexts or tags
- Task name in one line, long tasks do not fit
The general system of passing thoughts through an awesome note:

On the iPhone like this:

In this case, you will have to operate only with projects (daddies) and dates.
Invented - recorded. On the RULES we put down the dates and scatter everything in folders. The main working screen is
“All Notes” .
Waste tasks to add to the
basket , so as not to lose. More to say something and nothing.
The main thing is that no system interferes and strains.
Many people do without all these things and live quite efficiently at the same time!
Strength is in simplicity!
