Last month, we started writing a review of open source projects at http://fireforge.net/ and thanks for the good reviews. This month there is a new charge of energy and an incentive to continue sharing your code with others. In January, 5 new projects and 10 news items were added.

New projects:

• sharingan - Client and server for MMORPG games
• imagemanager - Image viewer with user-friendly interface
• RTS game studio - A program for creating games - strategies.
• Railroad Timetable - Suburban electric train timetable aggregator
• PFirewall - personal firewall for Windows (-like) systems

Project: Ultimate Calc
I will list the percentage of readiness of individual applications and plug-ins included in the project. You can read their appointment here.

Project: Tetris "Falling Leaves"

• fixed several bugs
• added records
• Added advanced triple shape mode

Project: hay
The first release for eclipse has been released. Under NetBeans there will be later

Project: ImageManager

• Beta version released
• The transition to WPF has begun

Project: SIPS
The system is slowly finished, and soon we will all be able to install the software simply and painlessly :) Version 0.1.5 is scheduled for February 1

Project: BirEdit
A new version of the text editor BirEdit has been released. In this version, some new features improvements and fixes, as well as added full support for Microsoft Windows 7

Project: Railroad Timetable

• First build released! Currently available only under Linux. Windows build is expected soon
• Of the major changes in this release, you can highlight support for Windows and multi-page sources of schedules.

Project: flmanowar
The game yareversi-1.0-rc1 including fltk and PocketBook versions has been released. also a binary win32 build for yacheckers-1.1.0 is available

PS I would also like to ask you to vote for ReactOS, which participates in the annual contest “Software of the Year 2009” . The fact is that some of the fireforge team are also the developers of ReactOS, and this project really needs support.
