image

When : 18:30, Friday, February 12, 2010.
Where : m. Polytechnic, Avalon training center (SPE SPbGPU, Obruchev St., 1), room 107.

The topic of the meeting is setting up a server for Rails / Ruby applications. Right at the meeting we will set up VDS *, for the subsequent posting of the community site (which of course will be written in Ruby).
')
I’m sure many developers have to (and this is useful) sometimes put on the hat of the system administrator to raise the server for their project. Probably many have an idea of how to do this, but there are some white spots, the desire to better understand or learn about alternative ways. Therefore, we want to get together and try to set up a real production server. Maxim Filatov will steer the process and will show one of the ways of setting.

We invite everyone to learn how to do it, discuss, argue
and offer your options.
