Trendy Entertainment has announced an analogue of the upcoming Project Natal. Unlike Microsoft's control system, which is created primarily for the Xbox 360, Trendy VisionPlay is designed to work with a PC.
The VisionPlay system uses a camera that tracks movements. Moreover, according to Trendy Entertainment experts, tracking is conducted separately for the head, arms, legs and torso of a person. The information transmitted to the PC for further processing in a specialized application contains data on how far the operator’s body parts are located from the camera lens and even the direction of their movement.
