How do we sell software?
The other day, I ran into my own school - they asked to see a new software package - some psychological tests. To be honest, I was very surprised when I opened the envelope and saw what money was paid for in the amount of 1000 r.
It is clear that the box for the disc cracked when it was shipped broke in several places - the disk was still good, but the “quality” of the carrier was more surprised:
The picture fixed on the inside of the box was a slurred, poorly printed green picture on plain thin paper. The disc is a simple Verbatim CD disc without any identifying marks or printed logos or anything like that. Whether I am spoiled by normal licensed software packages with beautiful covers and boxes, or people are so used to buying pirated software on such blanks without any pattern on the surface of the disk, they consider it normal to sell their products in the same way.

Already cautiously looking inside, I realized that my fears are confirmed. You don’t have any autoruns with an installation offer and a license agreement - a set of obscure files with obscure names is simply dumped into the root of the disk:
Slightly looking, I found three different files - “What is written on the disk,” “NEW User Guide” (as if I had once seen the “OLD User Guide”) and “How to install and activate the complex”.
Yes, this is not Win XP for you - inserted, installed, used.
Unfortunately, this is not the only case when you have to see a generally excellent domestic product, designed in any way, like it was not brought to mind.
Let's hope that we will soon start selling software in disks, which are pleasant to take in hand and which will not get lost in a heap of exactly the same disks because they cannot be distinguished from this pile. Well, about the normal, convenient installation of "our" products, I still do not even dream ...
