"No hidden fees", say? ..

“Hidden fee” is, if anyone does not know, a hidden contract clause that is written “in the lower right corner in small letters” or not written at all. As a rule, it is presented to the sucker at the most unexpected moment.
I myself am a humanist by education, and I am engaged in website building in my spare time from leisure, as a hobby. So what about the limit on the number of files that are simultaneously placed in one account I only found out yesterday, while reading the comments to one of the posts "habr." I asked the caliper - and it turned out that the number is equal to ten thousand. The value is completely indecent - at that time I had already exceeded it. In my opinion, the typical “hidden fee”, about which, by the way, none of the hosts I have seen on my website has written.

At the same time, for those radishes who did this, of course, it is written on the verb that “No hidden fees”, proudly, with two exclamation marks. Just like on the “Civil Defense” CD “Good !!”, the one with the obscene cover.
So I, when I saw this number, in about the same way, I thought ... And I used exclamation marks mentally even more.
However, the monitoring of public opinion has shown that the observance of this requirement is usually monitored through my fingers, I think this will be presented to me if I reach a certain amount of disk quota. But I would not want this to happen at the most unexpected moment.
And the previous hoster had another feeder: limited traffic on addon-domains, and severely so limited, it seems, three hundred megabytes per day. The site did not go even with habraeffektu, but simply with a hint of it. On the primary domain, everything was fine.
I understand that many of those present here are all long gone, and in the know. But for neophytes like me, I think it would be useful to add comments to stories about such small tricks of hosters, the devil would take them all.
Who knows what - “read the entire list please”. Also, the indications on specific “hidden fees” for specific hosters from among popular ones (for example, bluehost.com, judging by blog entries, the number of files is 50,000, which is divine) will be gratefully accepted.
