Implications of moving to Agave

It all started seemingly not bad, they wrote to us from Agave about the move, decided on a date, moved ...

Everything was good for a couple of days, and then it began ...

On the 25th, we transferred our server to a new DC. And suddenly - the server is unavailable. We call, we find out - the car rebooted, went into “single mode” and wants to “fsck-y”, okay, we think, “once - not ...”, they scored.
The next day, the exact same gimp, they thought “the second time - not ...”, they scored.
And it started ... Every day, at least once the server is cut down.

After the penultimate "reboot," the bases flew (they were recorded at that very moment). After the last download - freebsd flew out with "fatal trap 12".
Here we are already worried, wrote a “warning” letter to “Agave”, then the most interesting.

Technical support offered to change the iron, such as "something probably broke down," we agree, because Our info is more expensive.
They promised to assemble a server of a similar configuration in 2-3 hours and plug our hard disk there to transfer information. We wait.

After 6 hours of agonizing waiting, we were given passwords and turnout for the server and confirmed that our hard drive was installed.
Happy we climb on the car, we look for / new / new sign in the haul, we cut, we look and ... "big boatswain zagibon"!

Employees stuck in our server Alien Wiggle! We write, we call - deafly, the answering machine monotonously says "thank you, we understand." (We have a deep night, in Maskva - the end of the working day)

The whole gang is issuing another "big boatswain bend", because all possible phones are broken by customer calls (many called out all night)

Now we have morning, in the server Alien dirk, on personal mails there are customer mats, we turn on personal phones if necessary, we wait for Maskva to wake up ...

UPD1 : As of 10:54 05.02.2010 (Moscow time) there is a complete ignore from the support service. (not a few letters have been written) We are waiting for the boss (at the client at the meeting) for the control call “to the head”. \

UPD2: At 12:10 05.02.2010 (Moscow time), we finally received a message that our jig was connected, we checked - it was exactly OH. And even everything seems to be in place ...

Very sorry for the lost time (26 hours of server downtime) and nerves.
