Without a long introduction, I photographed a rotating coin, I got this:

The coin is completely flat, ordinary.
At first I was very surprised, but then I realized what was going on. Either the processor is slow, or the matrix, but in the end the reading goes line by line. The shutter speed seems to be set short, but while the matrix is being read, the coin has time to turn.

Not so impressive of course, but sometimes curious pictures are also obtained.
The key to success - a lot of light in the frame, so as not to get blurry frames.
upd: I found this effect on the camera of a mobile phone, I don’t think that the model and the company are important, but I shot it on sony ericsson k770i. He took out of the DSLR, on the mirrors this is not exactly get.
