Formspring.me is a service for asking anonymous (and not so) questions to registered users. Something like "letters to the editors of the name of me." How the service looks, you can look at the
example of the tape of the highly respected
Mio (Igor is not against :)
The mechanics of using the service is very simple: anonymously or by registering, you enter a question and click Send. The person to whom the question is asked, sees it in his Inbox and, if he wishes, answers it.
')
Thus, the pre-moderation is implemented, which is probably not bad, since the first question that was asked to me was whether I was “traditional orientation” - quite traditional :).
Not liked the question can be removed or not answer it. However, the ability of anonymous users to ask questions can be turned off, and a completely annoying user can be blocked.
The asked question cannot be deleted (it will remain even if the user who asked the question deletes his account). For that, if you really want, you can delete your answer to someone's question.
If the user has no unanswered questions, the service invites him to ask himself a random question (although it will be in English only). I dropped out “If you were asked to name the boat, what name would you choose?”. Americans ... :) By the way, nothing is said about the developers of the service on the site except that they are from Indiana.
The
blog service announced that the authors are working on the API and those who want to get access to it as soon as possible, can poison the request to developers through this
form . In particular, developers are hoping that in this way there will be third-party applications for mobile platforms.
Formspring.me has integration with Twitter, Blogger, Tumblr and Facebook. It seems that the service will become popular (provided that the developers are very weighted to approach the
suggestions of users about the additional features of the service and keep an understandable and clean concept).
