Good to all. Being all weekend at home because of a cold, I decided to devote my free time to creating a service (or even “microservice”), which in four words can be called the “Table of special characters online . ”
As a rule, Windows users can usually type Start → Run → charmap , and then a window with a symbol table will appear in front of them. And by typing charmap.ru in the browser line, a table of special characters will appear - that is, those characters, most of which cannot be typed on the keyboard in standard layouts.

In some ways, the project borrowed the idea from a foreign service copypastecharacter.com .
I decided to make it because the “copy-paste-character” type seemed too long, there was free time, and in my opinion a good domain name charmap.ru was free.
Nevertheless, my service is written completely from scratch, without borrowing a single byte from a foreign one, and has some differences in terms of functionality:
1. Added a window to display the current character in the clipboard.
2. Added a field where all the typed characters are sequentially added.
Well, and added some useful tables: alt-codes, html-codes, as well as a virtual keyboard.
Otherwise, everything works according to a similar principle: clicking on a symbol copies it to the clipboard, it remains only in the necessary forum / chat window to press "ctrl + v" to insert a symbol.
Everything is implemented in ActionScript + JavaScript + HTML + CSS.
I am sure that the service will not find worldwide fame, and there is no place to develop the project. But if someone besides me finds the service useful, it will be nice :) I will also be happy for reviews - all suggestions are accepted, what else would be appropriate to add to the site, or what should be corrected.
