Intel is rapidly turning green

Intel is building 8 new solar power plants, the total capacity of which will be about 2.5 MW. Almost all solar panels will be located on the roofs of Intel buildings. And only one, the most powerful power plant will be built separately in Folsom, California. Construction has already begun, and the deadline for the commissioning of power plants is 7 months.

In addition to building its own sources of “green” electricity, Intel also increased the amount of acquired “green electricity” (Renewable Energy Credits) by 10% to 1.43 billion kWh. So now exactly half of Intel's electrical power is green.

We add here that Intel began to "turn green" back in 2001, having invested more than $ 30 million in energy development during this time and already saved more than 650 million kWh. A good example for everyone.
