Google said no to IE 6

From March 1, Google stops supporting Internet Explorer 6 on some of its services.

In a post entitled β€œ Modern browsers for modern services, ” the senior manager of the Google Apps development group announced that, starting from March 1, 2010, Google will stop supporting Internet Explorer 6 in Google Docs and Google Sites.

Instead, IE 6 Google recommends using modern browsers: Internet Explorer 7.0+, Firefox 3.0+, Chrome 4.0+ and Safari 3.0+. Interestingly, Opera’s browser, which is so much loved by Russian users, is not on this list, and Chrome is placed in a modest and inconspicuous third place.
