And now the “Honda Solar Hydrogen Station,” the so-called Honda hydrogen gas station from Honda, is no longer just a concept, but a real device. The most interesting thing is that this gas station works mainly on solar energy. Most of the energy goes into hydrolysis of water and accumulation of hydrogen, and the rest of the energy is stored so that the station can work at night too.

By the way, a gas station can produce half a kilogram of hydrogen per day. This is quite a lot - anyone who remembers chemistry can calculate the volume of this gas for such a mass. The car, according to the idea, refuels at night, during the "rest" in the garage. At one gas station, a car can drive about 400 kilometers (for urban conditions, it’s quite enough, you will agree). Unfortunately, so far the cost of such a gas station is several hundred thousand dollars. But, let's hope that in a couple of years we will be watching the introduction of such technology and cheaper stations.
