Problems, solutions and some numbers.

Scan existing directories and you have your own directory

My programming teacher always liked to say that you need to start from the beginning.
In this case, we have an initial database of stores, about 2,000 records.

Problem: stores no longer exist

Some domain names are simply not available, and on some stores there are inscriptions like:
“Sorry, we are no longer working!” We implement the functionality for checking domain names and store closing messages:
At the exit there are about 1,500 stores.

Problem: stores are just windows

But few expect this. It seems that there is a store with goods, prices and a basket for an order, but when you go to the order you see the inscription that they trade, only from the point that is located: Minsk, Osovtsy market, roller shutter 256. And here you need a person who needs to quickly view 1,500 stores.
At the exit: about 1,000 stores.

Problem: categories created for advertising

Of course, when scanning, categories were identified in which the store should be placed. It is clear that almost every store owner, if given such an opportunity, will place his store in almost all categories.
And here again we need a person who must quickly look through 1.000 stores to check which categories they correspond to.

Problem: Where do you deliver the goods?

Finally, we are launching the site, but after a few days we understand that finding a store does not mean anything,
After all, not all stores deliver goods to any point of the Republic of Belarus.
I think that many have guessed that there will need a person who will browse all 1,000 stores to fill the delivery regions. And what is especially unpleasant: about 30% of owners do not indicate where they deliver the goods and will have to call them.
At the exit: 789 stores. Who knows why?

The reasons:
a) someone still closed, but forgot to report it.
b) and someone is a showcase, but refuses to write it on the site, because "they will not buy."

Let's sum up:

2,000 stores at the entrance, 789 at the exit.
493 stores deliver goods only in Minsk.
