Linux? Pornography!

On Friday, a meeting of heads of departments of the Moscow police. Vladimir Pronin, head of the Moscow police department, convened a meeting to identify new tasks for the police officers after the introduction of amendments to the federal law on copyright protection. During the meeting, Lieutenant General Pronin drew an associative parallel: users of counterfeit software - rapists and killers. Pronin made this conclusion on the basis of the penalties imposed by the state.

The first step in the fight against piracy will be checking all organizations in Moscow for compliance with copyright laws. At the meeting, they noted that the operational determination of the status of software of some Microsoft and 1C software products has already been worked out. Difficult situations arise when an enterprise uses the Linux operating system. Pronin is sure that a company running Linux is hiding something. Operational practice showed the oragans of law and order that Linux is used by “dark companies” engaged in pornography, money laundering, hacking, and so on.

One of the representatives of the “K” department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs commented on the attitude to Linux: “The fact of installing Linux on a computer under Russian law, unfortunately, is not a crime. However, this fact eloquently indicates that the user is afraid that the verifiers may find something forbidden on his computer, the user wants to hide what he actually does with this computer. It is recommended that all such hackers register and conduct periodic inspections, conduct explanatory conversations. Linux on a computer is absolutely the same as storing pornography according to our laws is not a crime, but closely related areas of activity are the production, duplication, distribution, seduction of minors are absolutely illegal. ”

So, dear Linux users, the use of the open-source platform is a moral cross that you carry. )
