iPad is another Apple revolution :)

Several sources said a couple of days ago that Steve Jobs said:
“The new device is the most important thing he has ever done.”
And many can not understand - what should this be in this device for a similar characteristic?

I think that everything is very simple, in a few years, the Apple iPad internet tablet and similar devices can push out all modern PC laptops and most desktop PCs from the market!
And modern IBM PC-compatible PCs will remain only on the tables of professional developers of soft, web, pad-applications and other content.
Consumers of the same content all polls will use different Pad-devices.

Those. - This is a new Apple revolution, destroying the usual PC-world.
And under the wreckage of the usual PC-world, such giants of the PC-world as Microsoft and Intel (Wintel-duet) may first of all perish (if they do not quickly redirect to the Pad device market).

Alan Kay , who invented the concept of a laptop and tablet computer in 1968 - called Dynabook , in 2007 after the presentation of the Apple iPhone, said:
“When Mac came out, Newsweek was asked what I thought of him. I said: this is the first personal computer worthy of criticism.
After the presentation, Steve approached and asked if the iPhone was worthy of criticism?
And I answered: make it five inches by eight inches and you will conquer the world. ”
')
With a width of five and a length of eight inches, the diagonal of the tablet is 9.4 inches.
And I think that Alan Kay meant that a tablet like Apple iPad can turn over and completely change the familiar PC world :)

PS: I already tried to talk about this in the article:
“Steve Jobs is trying to invent Dynabook again!” - (09/17/2008).

PPS: Yes, and some Apple fans say that Steve Jobs has a personal time machine :)
And he apparently flew into the future and saw how the iPad turned the whole of the present world, and after that his phrase was born:
“The new device is the most important thing I've ever done” ...
