Release our
project today. The new version made new graphics on the flash, well, so that it was beautiful to cover the whole thing with a hypha diva, as soon as the flash drive loaded data in the background, she hid the div. Everything worked beautifully and charmingly. Until…
We did not decide, 15 minutes before the release, to check the whole thing in Firefox 3.6, quite by accident. And the graphics are not loaded at all, even the request to the server is not present. And, accordingly, the diva does not hide, but blinks all the time.

They removed the div from above, we look, everything works. Then we decided to see if there were any requests in Firebug, we’ve overloaded the page, we’re not looking, we’ve scrolled through the window so that the flash drive was visible, it loaded, made the request and showed up. In the end, after the experiments, it turned out that Firefox 3.6 does not load or execute flash until it becomes visible to the user. The problem was solved by shifting the diva with the gif down 1px, so that the strip of flash drives looked out from under the diva.

We came to the conclusion that this was done for the sake of the struggle for user privacy, but IMHO is a bust.
