Users of Kaspersky Lab's antivirus products today faced an unusual problem: because of an error made in new anti-virus databases, the company's antivirus programs “discovered” the Trojan in the Google AdSense system. Thus, many users of these antiviruses who visited today sites with advertisements placed by Google contextual advertising blocks received messages about the detection of Trojan codes Trojan.JS.Redirector.ar.
The problem, apparently, lies in the Javascript code file, which is responsible for issuing the ad unit from the site
pagead2.googlesyndication.com . At the moment, the Kaspersky Lab technical support forum has already posted about hundreds of comments from bewildered users.
A company spokesman said that at the moment the company is already aware of the situation with Google AdSense and technical specialists are working on building updated databases for antiviruses. From any additional details in the LC until abandoned.
