Two books more
It seems that in the very near future two more e-books will be presented for the mass market, a couple of words about which are under the cut.
The first name is Orsio b751 . The screen, made by E-Ink Vizplex technology , has a diagonal of 5 "and a resolution of 800x600 (200 dpi). 64 MB of memory is allocated for system needs, another 512 MB of books are available (can be increased using an SD card). All kinds of printed materials will be processed Samsung S3C2440 ARM9 processor clocked at 400 MHz. Dimensions (in mm) are 149x108x10.3, weight - 130 g.

Supported formats are expected HTML, TXT, FB2, RTF, DjVu, PDF, ZIP, JPG, PNG and MP3, although it is possible that support for new ones will appear in new firmware versions. By the way, speaking of the firmware - for the b731 book, they came out with an enviable constancy - at the moment I don’t even know what I would like to see in the book) Works are debugged, the book works like a clock, which I am immensely pleased with.
But the most pleasant, perhaps, not even the firmware. The manufacturer promises to make the price for a novelty significantly lower than all analogues existing on the Russian market! We wait? Rather yes than no )
The second and more, in my opinion, an interesting novelty is the device from ASUS - the DR-950 reader.
The weight will be three times more - 370 grams (with a thickness of 9 mm), but the screen diagonal is much more mature - 9 inches at a resolution of 1024x768. Additionally, it will be touch.
Next, ogogo! Will support Wi-Fi (in the advanced configuration of WiMAX), 3G and HSDPA. Built-in RSS-aggregator under such "greenhouse" conditions will not be superfluous. The volume of 2-4 GB can also be increased with an SD card. Well, another distinctive bonus is the presence of a sound card and stereo speakers, which ultimately will give the user to listen to audiobooks or read to music (3.5mm jack is provided). The final touch can be considered a wonderful design, which I like much more than the current Sonya.
I don’t know if these devices will become truly mass ... but, in my opinion, the days of paper books are already really numbered) The prices of both devices, however, are unknown yet, but in any case, piggy banks can already be kept ready.
