IT League 10 (one-zero) in Kharkov

A bit of history

In the autumn (September - November) of 2009, a group of IT-activists organized 01 IT-League draws on futsal. The tournament was held on the mini-football fields of SK "Metalist". The participants were the leading Kharkiv IT companies:

A few words about what is so remarkable tournament came out.



Judged the team - professional judges. During the time of Ligue 01 - the team players had time to learn how to make substitutions, recognize the term “not athletic behavior”, get on their legs and respond the same, the fans learned how to instantly react to the events in the match - with sharp ditties and chants.

We were pleased with the coverage in the fields (artificial grass cover of Desso Soccer grass 3/8, Holland), it was a pleasure to play on it.

The atmosphere ... She just had to feel. Burning eyes, tears of defeat, with each game strong muscles, screaming and waving flags with fans, centners programmers creating just supernatural tricks at the opponents' goal, system administrators, goalkeepers flying between the bars. It was a bit sad too: a broken nose and tucked legs, a lot of bruises and abrasions, but oddly enough, people with the most painful injuries could not sit at home for a long time and having missed literally 1-2 games - returned to work to help the team.

Yes, the tournament participants will not let me lie - it was great!

A couple of words about the coverage of the tournament. In addition to publishing the results of the matches on the official website of the IT League , there were also reviews of most matches, as well as photo reports, they were published on the website: Kharkiv Football , there were discussions about the belonging of judges to sexual minorities and the injustice of football gods.

After a fairly good debut, we wanted more.

And from March to May 2010, IT League 10 (one-zero) will be held. In its organization we will try to take into account the mistakes and shortcomings of the previous draw.

All Kharkiv IT companies, as well as single programmers (freelancers, as well as those whose companies did not want to please their employees) are invited to participate.
