Third level domains org.ru, pp.ru, msk.ru, etc. - now for money

The sad news. According to this document :

On September 30, 2009, the Council of the Coordinating Center of the National Internet Domain ANO decided to cancel special types of domain names in the .RU domain and implement the following procedure:

Interesting. Almost 4 months have passed, and so far about this decision was not heard.

2. Cancel special type:
2.1. industry domain names COM.RU, NET.RU, ORG.RU, PP.RU;
2.2. geographical domain names.

Geographical, in particular, are .msk.ru, .msk.su, .spb.ru, .spb.su.

5. All operations with domain names listed in clauses 1 - 2, including the extension of the registration period, should be performed in accordance with the current Rules for registering domain names in the .RU domain name.

In fact, this means that the formerly free domains will now take money.

Administrators of industry and geographical domain names to transfer support for information on domain names from RosNIIROS to accredited registrars need:

- send, before July 29, 2010, to the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization “Coordinating Center of the National Internet Domain” an application in writing about the transfer of support for information about the domain name (s) to an accredited registrar (sample application: html, rtf)

The application is made on the letterhead of the organization; must contain the signature of the authorized person and the seal of the organization.

At the same time, the document does not say what to do to an individual, not to an organization.

Sadly I now have somewhere a couple dozen of similar domains. At best, you have to pay for them. At worst, there is a danger of losing them due to vague conditions of transfer to an accredited registrar.
