No official Python certification

I work as a Python-programmer, and the employer once wondered why I still did not bother to receive a certificate. I began to explain that certificates for programmers are not very quoted, in contrast to the same admin. But when they hinted to me that the office would pay me for the certification, I decided to find out whether it is planned to start a certification program for Python in the near future.
