Hi, habra people!
So it turned out, Habrahabr I manage to read only on the way to and from work. On this occasion, of course, I tried several ways to read Habr on a mobile device. Here, perhaps, I'll start with this.
My requirements for a mobile site or application that allows reading Habr are simple - they should be convenient to use on a mobile device and should cover the functionality of the original Habrahabr to the maximum. Here is my list:
- It should be possible to add an article to your favorites to read later on a normal computer.
- It should be possible to ply and minus the article.
- It should be possible to add karma to the author.
- It should be possible to add or minus comments.
- Must be able to read and write comments.
- There should not be unnecessary transitions, reboots.
First in line we have the original website
Habrahabr :

')
0.5 points for adding an article to your favorites, because it is small and inconvenient.
0.5 points for ± articles, again, because small.
0.5 points for the author's + karma
1 point for the ability to write comments
Traffic consumes too much, because you have to read all the articles; the site is not adapted for a mobile device.
Total:
2.5 pointsBut we still have
Mikrohabr :

Yes, the site reads well on a small screen, but does not allow either to add to favorites or to add / minus or write comments. Moreover, there is not a single link to the original site, i.e. Of course, you can switch to it by editing the address bar, but somehow this is very annoying - to open the address bar each time and erase 'm.'. In addition, despite the fact that the ability to view only article headlines is useful, all links open in the same window, which means you need to constantly press forward / back, which is inconvenient, because it is easier to switch between tabs than to overload the list of articles every time. So,
1 point is for the ability to read comments and design adapted to a small screen.
The following in our review is
Google Reader :

1 point for adapting to a mobile device and unfolding articles harmonica.
Another 1 point for additional things like tagging with an asterisk, adding to favorites.
The site is heavily loaded even in 3G, but this is compensated by the design, which opens the original pages of articles in separate tabs, which means the list of articles in the Google reader does not restart if I want to read the comments on one of the articles. For this I will add one more subjective 1 point, which in the end will give
3 points .
Finally, I was tired of waiting for “grace from nature” and for one New Year's Eve I made my Micro-Shabr. As expected, he was supposed to be with blackjack and ... well, you know:

The site would score solid 4 points, because it provides everything good from the above sites, except for reading and ± comments. But unfortunately, Habrahabr has no API for changing karma and rating articles (or have I not found it?), And sending POST to
habrahabr.ru/ajax from a third-party site without having habrovskikh cookies is problematic.
Therefore, now my hand-made article looks like
this :

Saytik normally read on a small screen. The text of the article to habrakata loaded only when you click on the title, which means traffic is saved. Links lead to the original pages of articles on a large Habrahabr, so that in all other respects I use the benefits of habrahabr.ru.
The site is gaining one point for saving traffic and I give it half a point subjectively because, unlike Microhabr, from the site you can go to the original Habr and use its functionality. Total:
1.5 points .
And now the most important thing:
Are there any developers of Habr? How would we increase the convenience of using Habrahabrom on mobile devices? Maybe there is a Habrahabr API, but I did not find it? Or maybe you will spend quite a bit of time and make the mobile Habrahabr as functional as habrahabr.ru? What are your plans for this?
