New WiMAX-provider Soyuz-Telecom plans to connect small towns and rural areas

In the second half of last year, Soyuz Telecom Company, through its website, first succinctly announced the creation of a test zone in the Moscow region , and then a little more extensively told about the planned launch (in test mode) of wireless Internet access using Mobile WiMAX 4G technology in the village Kanevskoy Krasnodar Territory . At the regional forum (Forums.Kuban.Ru), as well as at the Kanevskaya forum , the company representatives also told that their WiMAX will work in the 2.5-2.7 GHz range , and that the company plans to cover small cities in many regions of Russia; In particular, in 2010 Krasnodar Region plans to launch networks in 12 settlements: in the first half of the year in Kanevskaya, in the second half of the year Kropotkin city, Anapa city, Gelendzhik city, Tuapse city, Temryuk city, Khadyzhensk city, stanitsa village will be covered White Clay, stanitsa Kushchevskaya, stanitsa Pavlovskaya, stanitsa Otradnaya, stanitsa Aleksandrovka (Yeisk district).
