Sample PR2 - Free for Developers

Willow Garage, one of the main developers of the Robot Operating System, announced the launch of a beta-testing program for the Open Source PR2 (Personal Robot 2) robot model. This is a great home robot that has the potential to do all the housework and even has the ability to find the nearest outlet to recharge itself.

Any development team or research team can get a copy of the robot for free if they fill out the application by the link above before February 1.

Under the conditions, the developers promise to follow the principles of Open Source and sign a standard agreement. In total, ten robots will be distributed.
