Charger Overview MAHA POWEREX MH-C9000

As the owner of the camera and external flashes - the question of well-charged batteries worries and interests me very much. I have 3 sets of 4 GP Green Power AA batteries (2050 mA). But, now the conversation is not about batteries, but about how to keep these batteries alive and with almost 100% charge. I began to notice that the number of flashes is becoming less and less. Charged batteries with a native charger.

I came to the aid of the charger: MAHA POWEREX MH-C9000 , which I ordered on eBay with delivery from the US.

Glossy, beautiful quality box.

And in the box a device in a pimply film:

And the adapter 110-240V to 12V, but NOT with a euro plug:

Therefore, for use with Russian sockets, we need an adapter (purchased separately):

We take the charger out of the bag and the first thing that catches the eye is high-quality plastic, a solid case that does not creak or crumble from pressure. A film is stuck on the screen to be removed:

Compared to other chargers that I met - in MAHA POWEREX MH-C9000 batteries are located at a decent distance from each other, which improves the air circulation around them and therefore provides better cooling:

The screen is white backlit, but the shade is a bit bluish.

4 function buttons are very pleasant to the touch - rubber.

At the top there is a connector for connecting the power adapter, and on the back is a bracket-stand:

Practical part

The device allows you to perform 5 basic operations:

I inserted batteries that were charged by a native charger and the charger showed capacity:

I launched the Refresh and analyze program with a charge current of 1000mAh and a discharge current of 500mAh. I woke up in the morning - the batteries are charged and their capacity is within 2015-2025 mA.

The second batch of batteries held the program Refresh and analyze for about 12 hours. The condition of the batteries was worse than the previous one, so the final capacity was 1900-1950 mA.

The next stage is charging batteries on a charge current of 2000 mAh. Pre-batteries were discharged by the corresponding function. The batteries charged almost half (780 mA) and the charging process was turned off due to overheating. After 8 minutes, the charging process continued automatically and charged up to 2000 mA.

I will be glad to answer any questions and conduct additional testing.

The cost of the purchase and delivery amounted to approximately $ 70 ...

La Crosse Alpha Power BC-9009 can be considered an analogue of this device, but they are still different.
