There are many people who are prevented from switching to Ubuntu by the lack of necessary programs, such as Adobe Photoshop. Although there are alternatives for it (for example, Gimp), a user survey showed that, given the current scenario, the Gimp will never (in the near foreseeable future) be a replacement for Adobe Photoshop.
