The next version of Android will be named Froyo

This was stated by the manager of the Android unit Eric Tseng, reports the site engadget.com .
Froyo is translated as Frozen Yogurt ( from "frozen yogurt", eng. )
Eric did not say what the next version number will be (2.2 or 3.0), nor did he give any details about the new system.
Prior to this, the Android OS had the names Cupcake , Donut and Eclair .
