Windows Live Hotmail comes out of beta

Microsoft has finally completely modernized its popular email service and must now transfer it from the beta testing stage to the final version.

According to sources familiar with the company's plans, Microsoft, without attracting general attention, experienced a new version of the service in small countries to check the stability of the work. Today, Hotmail has to exit the testing stage all over the world and become accessible to more than 250 million people.

Microsoft, testing service, since August, 2005 rewrote it from scratch. In November 2005, Microsoft renamed the service to Windows Live. For recognition (and discontent among some users), in February 2006, the mail service was renamed Windows Live Hotmail.

Microsoft has focused on improving the speed and efficiency of its mail service. Windows Live Hotmail offers users 2 GB of space for correspondence, and also allows you to import and export contacts to other email services, such as Gmail and Yahoo Mail.
